WHAT IS A LEASE DEED FOR A COMMERCIAL PROPERTY?

The  lease deed is designed for leasing a tangible, commercial property. It is a legal document that lays out the terms and conditions under which the rented property is leased out. These terms and conditions must be followed by both the landlord and the tenant.

A lease agreement establishes that a lessor has given his property to the lease for a lease period specified in the agreement.It should also execute the monthly rent payable for the use of premises by the lease. Failure to make the payment of lease rentals make the lease liable for interest. The lessee and lessor should abide by all the terms and conditions mentioned in the agreement.The agreement must be signed by both the parties and witnessed.

It can be used by the Lessor or Lessee of a commercial property. The document is legally binding and can be enforced in a court. The lease deed should be printed on a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.100/- or more. It is signed upon the payment of deposit for the rental property by the lessee.
